Transforming Dublin Airport

T2: The Journey Begins

AALogo1

Construction work on T2 began on 1 October 2007 just one month after the project was given the go-ahead by An Bord Pleanála (The Irish Planning Appeals Board).

The site for the new terminal is currently being cleared and bulk excavation is about to get underway. The airport’s road network is also being revamped to allow for construction of the new terminal. The T2 site is located both sides of Corballis Road South, which is the main approach road to the existing terminal at Dublin Airport.

The construction works will continue until late 2009 so please bear with us as we improve, expand and modernise your airport.
