Transforming Dublin Airport

Two-thirds Of T1X Steel In Position

T1X Steel

Two-thirds of the structural steel frame for the Terminal One Extension (T1X) at Dublin Airport is now in place.

The €55 million T1X project is making huge strides forward, as main contractor McNamara and steel supplier Walter Watson currently have two separate teams working day and night on the project. T1X is designed to improve the passenger journey to Piers A and D by adding more circulation space, new airside retail and catering outlets, and a reconfigured check-in area at the northern end of the existing terminal.

The extension to Terminal One will be handed over on a phased basis and will be fully complete by next summer.
