DAA Scores With Euro 2008 Team

Representatives of 12 of the 16 countries competing at Euro 2008 are currently working on the €2 billion Transforming Dublin Airport investment programme.

The DAA has staff from three-quarters of the nations competing in Austria and Switzerland employed either directly or for one of its partners on the capital programme. "They may be rivals at Euro 2008, but when they are working for us, they’re all on the same team," said DAA spokesman Paul O'Kane.

Our picture shows Mesut Dogan from Ankara in Turkey and Hugo Camacho from Lisbon in Portugal in action for the DAA’s Transforming Dublin Airport Team. Mesut is working on the new four star hotel and multi-storey car park at Dublin Airport while Hugo works on the T2 project.

The 12 Euro 2008 competitors represented on the DAA’s Transforming Dublin Airport team are: Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Russia, Poland, Switzerland, and Austria.
