More than €500 million has now been invested in new and improved faciliities under the €2 billion Transforming Dublin Airport programme.
The amount invested in better facilities for passengers using Dublin Airport passed the €500m mark in June when a record €34 million was spent on the capoyal programme in a single month. "We are prudently investing to expand and improve Dublin Airport for all our customers," said DAA Chief Executive Declan Collier.
Projects delivered so far under the Transforming Dublin Airport programme include Pier D, Area 14, new car hire facilities, 21 new aircraft parking stands, a new coach park, and an extension to the Blue long-term car park at Harristown.
The €500m spend also includes a large amount of work on projects still under construction, such as T2 and the extenstion to Terminal One.
