Transforming Dublin Airport

Two More T2 Contractors Onsite

T2 Baggage Hall, Dublin Airport

T2’s cladding and mechanical and electrical contractors have both started work onsite in recent days.

Portuguese firm Martifer is the lead player in a three-way consortium responsible for installing the walls and roof of the new terminal. Martifer, which is one of Europe`s largest steel construction companies, is joined in the cladding consortium by its associate company Mota-Engil, and Irish partners Coffey Construction. The cladding team is currently installing secondary steel at the T2 baggage hall, as part of the process of building the walls of the new terminal.

Meanwhile, T2 M&E contractor Mercury Engineering has also started work in the baggage hall in recent days. Mercury is one of Ireland’s largest engineering services companies.
