A total of 23.3 million passengers used Dublin Airport in 2007 up 10% on 2006.  Dublin airport handled 77% of the Republic of Ireland’s international air passenger traffic.
 There was a choice of over 200 scheduled and charter destinations on offer from Dublin in 2007 served by 89 airlines.  Of these 41 were scheduled airlines serving 161 scheduled world wide destinations. 49 new routes and services were launched at the airport during the year with the majority of these being to Continental Europe.  Continental European routes are our largest market with over 11.9 million passengers on European routes last year.  We now serve 111 European scheduled airports.   The European market was followed by the UK with over 8.7 million passengers.  North Atlantic traffic grew strongly in 2007 with new capacity and destinations to the US.  A total of 1.6 million passengers traveled on North Atlantic routes in 2007.

ACI currently rank Dublin as the 8th largest airport in Europe for International passengers.

With all departures on the first floor level and all arrivals on the ground floor it is possible for you to segment your advertising communication.  For example you can limit your communications to arriving passengers or alternatively you can just as effectively target departing passengers or frequently flying business passengers.
