The BI and Systems Department of DAA is seeking an IT graduate interested in specialising on one of the following areas;
Oracle Applications Development & Support
DAA operate the Oracle
eBusiness suite as its ERP system. BI and Systems provide the development
and support services for both the extensive application module footprint and the
underlying technology stack. The main areas covered are;
• A range of modules including Financials, HR, Payroll,
Procurement…
• A range of support reporting and efficiency tools
including Discoverer, Financial Analyser, FSGs via ADI
• Substantial
systems and process integration
• Development and enhancement services
for application modules, integration, reporting and business intelligence
Oracle Database Administration
DAA’s core DBMS is Oracle. BI and
Systems manage all aspects of the Oracle database platform for the DAA
Organisation, covering;
• Database sizing and capacity planning, installation and
administration
• Database backup and recovery
• Provision of
database environments to projects
• Performance monitoring and
tuning
• Troubleshooting and fix
IT Security & Compliance
This area looks after the technical security
and regulatory compliance for the DAA Organisation. The key tasks involved
are;
• Technical security implementation (including specialised security
products and security management during systems acquisition, implementation and
maintenance)
• Policy, process and procedures (definition,
implementation and management)
• Risk investigation, review and
mitigation
IT Operations
IT operations manages the IT infrastructure which
enables the deliver of systems, projects and services by BI and Systems.
The main areas managed are;
• Implementation and management of the resilient Enterprise Unix
platform
• Implementation and management of the Windows server
platform
• Implementation and management of email, Active Directory and
other business enabling services
• Provision and management of IT
infrastructure for new projects and new services
