A comprehensive marketing campaign will be launched in mid-May in support
of the decision by the Great Southern Hotels Group (GSH) to sell its eight
hotels on a going concern basis, the Board of GSH has announced.
While the Board has been very encouraged by the level of interest expressed informally in the hotels to date, the marketing campaign will aim to attract the highest possible number of formal submissions of interest, both from the Irish and overseas markets.
The sale process will be conducted by competitive tender and it is planned to complete the overall sale process by the Autumn of 2006. GSH employees and their trade union representatives are being kept fully informed of the company’s plans.
The Board of GSH is advised on the sale process by BDO Simpson Xavier, Corporate Finance and by the commercial estate agency firm, CBRE.
