The Dublin Airport Authority has commissioned one of Ireland's leading security consultancy firms, RMI, to carry out an independent review of security at Dublin Airport.
Working closely with management and employees at the Airport, RMI's broad-ranging review will include areas such as passenger flow arrangements, security equipment and technology, and training programmes.
"Our priority is to provide assurance to passengers and other users of the Airport that our safety and security measures continue to meet international best practice whilst at the same time ensuring efficient passenger operations," said Robert Hilliard, Director - Dublin Airport. "RMI's expertise in this field will provide a valuable additional resource in support of this objective."
RMI, whose specialist team includes former senior international airport security personnel, has extensive experience in the aviation sector and has carried out security reviews at more than 60 airports throughout Europe.
