DAA response to Commission for Aviaiton's Draft

Dublin Airport Authority Response to Commission for Aviation Regulation's Draft Determination re Aviation Charges at Dublin Airport

The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) notes the draft determination, published by the Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) today, relating to airport charges at Dublin Airport.

The DAA will review the published material in detail prior to further direct consultation with CAR about its final determination, due later this year.

As DAA can only build the airport infrastructure for which it is remunerated through an appropriate airport charge, CAR's final determination in this regard will have a fundamental impact on the quality of the passenger experience at Dublin Airport for many years to come.

As previously indicated, the DAA will continue to engage with CAR in a professional and rigorous manner to assist in determining the level of airport charges required to meet the needs of all current and prospective users of Dublin Airport. In that context, the DAA does not intend to issue any further public comment on the process at this stage.
