Dublin Airport has teamed up with Alpha Retail Catering to enhance and expand significantly, the range of catering choices available to departing passengers when they have passed through the passenger security screening areas at the Airport.
From Monday 29th August, this exciting development will provide convenient access for departing passengers to a broad range of waiter-service dining facilities, and hot and cold buffet and deli options from the retail Shopping Street located beyond the passenger security screening areas. Access to the newly-located facilities will be clearly signposted from the Shopping Street.
This significant enhancement of passenger facilities at Dublin Airport has been put in place by transferring the Foodhall, Nude, Brasserie and Bar from their existing location over the departures floor pre-passenger security screening, to the other side of the passenger screening areas.
The newly-located facilities will add to the existing catering options available to departing passengers, closer to the departure gates to in Piers A, B and C.
Director of Dublin Airport Robert Hilliard said “This move is a direct response by Dublin Airport to recent customer surveys which indicated to us that departing passengers desired a greater range and choice of catering facilities, once they had passed through our passenger security screening areas. I have no doubt that the relocation of the Foodhall, Nude, Brasserie and Bar will not only complement the existing restaurant facilities close to the departure gates but will also provide greater choice to suit a variety of tastes”.
To celebrate the launch of this new development, Dublin Airport and Alpha Retail Catering are offering departing passengers the opportunity to win two holiday vouchers, each to the value of €2,500, when they purchase food or beverages at the newly-located Foodhall, Nude, Brasserie and Bar facilities. To be in with a chance to win one of these holiday vouchers departing passengers should look out for promotional brochures being handed out on the Shopping Street at Dublin Airport from today until the end of the week.
